This week, we are featuring Calvin on Job, Disability and Suffering” by Hans S. Reinders.

reindersHans S. Reinders has been the Professor of Ethics at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam since 1995. He has published widely on disability issues in both secular and theological circles. Among his books are The Future of the Disabled in Liberal Society (The University of Notre Dame Press, 2000) and Receiving the Gift of Friendship (Eerdmans Publishing Company, 2008). He is currently serving as the Editor of the Journal of Religion, Disability and Health. Hans is from the Reformed Church tradition.
